Heatwaves is a pioneering team within the MindSpark Robotic Foundation Inc. These dedicated team members have consistently demonstrated excellence, culminating in their current pursuit of the FIRST Tech Challenge. Their journey has been remarkable, marked by strong performances in various tournaments and innovative projects. As a rookie team, Heatwaves achieved an impressive 3rd place in the points table at the State Championship, a testament to their skill and hard work. They continue to push boundaries and inspire within the robotics community.

Having won many competitions in this season of FLL, Innobots got this once in a life time opportunity to showcase their work to Iowa lawmakers. Some people they have met in the capital are; Senator Mike Zimmer, State representative Jane Bloomingson, Senator Bill Dotzler, Lieutenant Governor of Iowa Chris Cournyer, and a few other lawmakers and visitors!

The Blizzards Team won the Rising Stars award at the qualifiers, a testament to their strong adherence to the FIRST LEGO League Core Values: Discovery, Innovation, Impact, Inclusion, Teamwork, and Fun. Their innovative project, focused on faster ocean cleaning, was presented with confidence and curiosity from the judges. MindSpark is incredibly proud of the coding and presentation skills these kids gained, and the Blizzards will continue their FLL journey in the coming years.
